We are an independent family run pub in Melton Mowbray, at the heart of the local community. We are open every day and welcome all families whether this be for a social drink or a bite to eat, we are dog friendly too. We offer a good selection of local and international beers and wines alongside a variety of meals from the old favourite pub classics to children’s meals and not forgetting our traditional home cooked Sunday lunches.
Alongside our regular darts teams on a Monday and Wednesday and pool teams on a Tuesday we run a fun and friendly quiz every Thursday night from 8.00pm. We are also renowned for our family fun days and charity fundraising events throughout the year. We also cater for private parties or events.

We completely understand that plans can sometimes change, but if you’re ever unable to make your booking, we’d really appreciate as much notice as possible. Our Pie Nights tend to fill up quickly and we often have a waiting list, so it gives us the chance to offer those places to others who are keen to join us.

We’re pleased to say that our much-loved Pie Night returns on Tuesday 2nd June, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for an evening of delicious homemade pies. 👩🍳

A very special thank you to Sam and Lee for all of their hard work preparing and cooking the delicious dishes that everyone got to enjoy. The food was absolutely incredible, and the time, effort, and care that went into creating such a fantastic buffet certainly did not go unnoticed! 👏👨🍳
